For best results, hair should be about ¼ inch (roughly two weeks growth). Avoid heavy creams or oils before your visit, exfoliate gently 48 hours prior, and arrive with clean, dry skin so the wax can adhere properly.

You may feel brief stinging as hair is removed, but pain varies by sensitivity. Our estheticians use gentle techniques, warmed wax, and calming products to minimize discomfort. Topical numbing can be discussed for anxious or sensitive clients.

Results typically last three to six weeks depending on individual hair growth cycles and care. With regular waxing, regrowth often becomes finer and sparser, which can extend time between appointments and improve overall smoothness.

Avoid waxing immediately after sunbathing or spray tanning. Freshly tanned or sunburned skin is more sensitive and prone to irritation; wait at least two weeks after sun exposure or tanning treatments and remove sunscreen before your appointment.

Certain conditions and medications increase risk: active skin infections, severe eczema or psoriasis, recent chemical peels, blood thinners, chemotherapy, or retinoid use. Always disclose medications and medical history so we can advise or request physician clearance.

Keep the area clean and avoid hot showers, saunas, heavy exercise, and sun exposure for 24–48 hours. Wear loose clothing, apply soothing aloe or recommended products, and gently exfoliate after 72 hours to help prevent ingrown hairs.
