Most clients enjoy smooth results for three to six weeks, depending on individual hair growth. Regular waxing tends to slow regrowth and deliver finer hair over time. Factors like hormones and medication can affect duration, so we recommend scheduling accordingly.

No — waxing removes hair at the root, so regrowth generally appears softer and finer. Shaving can make hair seem thicker because of blunt ends. With repeated waxing many clients notice reduced density and a smoother texture.

Ideally hair should be about 1/4 inch (roughly 6 mm), typically two to three weeks of growth. Hair that's too short won't grip the wax, while overly long hair may be trimmed by your technician for a comfortable treatment.

Some discomfort is normal, but waxing is quick and brief. To reduce sensitivity, avoid caffeine, stay hydrated, exfoliate a day before, and consider a topical numbing product if needed. Our technicians use fast, skilled techniques and calming aftercare.

If your skin is sunburned, wait until fully healed—typically several days—before waxing. For sensitive skin we perform a patch test and use gentle waxes. Inform us of allergies, skin conditions, or medications like retinoids that may contraindicate waxing.

Avoid hot baths, saunas, heavy exercise and sun exposure for the first 24–48 hours. Gently exfoliate after 48–72 hours to prevent ingrown hairs, apply fragrance-free moisturizer daily, and use SPF when going outdoors.
